Welcome to the Matthews Historical Foundation. Since its inception in 1987, the Matthews Historical Foundation (MHF) has been a non-profit  organization comprised of dedicated volunteers. The mission and goal of the foundation  is community service through the restoration and upkeep of The Reid House and surrounding property as well as bringing Matthews history to life.
